Last Days of Summer
It’s been great to have time to meet up with family and some friends these last couple of weeks. Terry’s golf tournaments are now over and we don’t have any plans to leave home for a couple of months.
We’ve had fun with date nights again and recently enjoyed one on a Friday at our local Tiramisu restaurant. The dinner was delicious and we purchased some fresh bread at the new adjoining bakery.
We finally found an opportunity to go out for our first icecream of the summer and it was gooooood! Terry loved his golfing this year and did very well, and one day we found a new park we’d never been to calle Miquelon Lake. We set up a ‘bug tent’ because the wasps are crazy this year, had a yummy picnic inside, and then did some plein air watercolour painting. Funny, that we both chose to paint an image of Mount Rundle!
I hope you are staying safe and well this summer……and well away from the wasps!
