More in Morinville

Hard to believe that our perfectly warm day could change so drastically into an icy evening but those were the circumstances for our outdoor concert , last of the Thursday night series in Morinville, Alberta.

That said , it was such a warm reception by the (50?) people who showed up to welcome us.  The church grounds were lovely ; grass immaculately groomed, and I thought the clock tower made a nice back drop for our outdoor stage.

I shared the ‘ Folk Fest’ type stage with Tim Chesterton , an Edmonton Minister and incredible guitar player/singer/songwriter.  To his left we saw another Edmonton talent in Jessica Heine.  All three of us played our original guitar tunes and my friends added some great ‘covers’ to their repertoire .

I started us off with my song, WAITING, from the album of the same name and then we took turns playing in sequence.  My niece, Alaina, added some fun cajone percussion to the mix.

All the proceeds went to the Morinville Food Bank . What a pleasure to play with such talented folks.

I hope to be asked back next year !
