I know that most of us only look inward when it comes to running around trying to work or to just get through the day. We are in our heads : “What do I have to do today, in the next hour, the next minute, the next second?”
But no matter if I’m on holidays or home I always seem to look up and around and try to capture some of the beauty I see with my camera. I guess I’m a bit of a daydreamer.
But especially if I am visiting another city or country, my eyes are outward and they want to catch a beautiful scene or moment if I can.
I’ll just share with you some random photographs I’ve taken during my 5 weeks here in Windsor and surrounding towns.
My weather here has been fantastic, more like August temperatures, but we also had a bit of rain once in a while. I was happy I had my second ‘go’ at cherry blossoms after my Vancouver visit . Love the many towns here, the many barns and the cool buildings too.
It was iris season and I couldn’t believe I saw an actual wisteria tree on my parents’ street! I’ve only ever seen those before in Europe. So pretty.
Daytime sunshine or evening sunsets, there was always something beautiful to see as we walked or drove around. Take time to smell the roses they say…..
