WAITING

THE NEW COVID RULES HAVE US WAITING.  AND WAITING.

HOW ARE WE FILLING OUR TIME?  WITH WHAT ARE WE FILLING OUR HEADS?

ARE WE LITERALLY JUST WAITING FOR THIS ALL TO END SO WE CAN GO BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS BEFORE?   I THINK IT PROBABLY WON’T EVER BE LIKE IT WAS BEFORE..AT LEAST NOT EXACTLY.

OUR DAYS WILL PASS A LOT MORE SLOWLY IF WE DON’T LIVE IN THIS MOMENT.  I THINK WE NEED TO LIVE THIS JOURNEY AND FIND THE BEAUTY WITHIN THE NOW. AND YES, IT IS IMPORTANT TO LOOK FORWARD WITH HOPE.

AS BISHOP BARRON SAID TODAY IN HIS HOMILY…..

….”when a woman becomes pregnant, she has to wait nine long months before the baby is ready; when a gardener works, he waits and watches and cultivates; when an author writes a book, he has to let it come on its own terms and in its own time.

“How long does this analysis take?” a woman asked Carl Jung. He replied, “Just as long as it takes.” Gestation, growth. So we endure the harsh and the sweet processes that make growth possible.”

I HOPE THAT WHEN WE COME THROUGH THIS TIME WE WILL HAVE LEARNED TO HAVE GROWN IN SOME WAY (AND NOT JUST IN GIRTH…HA HA) .

I HOPE TO HAVE GROWN IN CHARITY AND FAITH.

I CHOOSE THE FRONT ROW.

LET’S NOT WASTE AWAY WHILE WE WAIT.  LET’S CHOOSE TO REALLY LIVE …TODAY
