Very happy that in only 2 1/2 hours Terry and I were able to sell 9 paintings with proceeds going to YoungLife Canada, The Rosebud School of the Arts, and The Marian Center. We are also giving to the Alzheimer’s Society as the choice for Urban Timber who kindly offered their showroom/store for the show.
Leanne also provided wine , cheese and other goodies for our many guests. We purchased our 100 year old, reclaimed wooden floors from Leanne and Darren at Urban Timber. They came to our Open House Thank You evening and noticed that our walls are filled with our own original art . This got the whole thing rolling.
To date we have now sold 11 paintings , have 2 commissions and have been offered a new , 3 month Art Show/Sale in the Rosebud Theatre.
We are thrilled to be able to give to our favourite charities this way.
